SDT Productions aka Jay Verkamp began in 2002 when Jay arrived in Hollywood, CA to begin a career in the film and television industry. Utilizing his background as an audio engineer, Jay became a location sound mixer for films and TV shows, eventually becoming the sound supervisor on the History channel's "Top Gear" for 4 seasons. Gradually, Jay added Drone Op, Camera Op, and Video Editor before founding Sound Drone Tech, Inc. aka SDT Productions.
These days Jay splits his time between co-producing video projects and video editing where Jay is able to use his skills as a post production audio mixer and voice-over artist (You can hear Jay's voice on many of the video samples above). He has also been busy producing and mixing podcasts for many of his clients. When time permits, he enjoys producing his own music.
